Where is Pakistan's economy heading? According to a Business Recorder news item, Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) has released the results of its Business Confidence Index (BCI) Survey - Wave 17, which shows that the overall business confidence in Pakistan stands at 12 percent negative, a 26 percent decline from the 14 percent positive recorded in the Wave 16 results announced in May last year. The Wave 17 survey was carried out in December 2018.

The OICCI report appears to be an authentic document that informs people about the level of business confidence in the country. The PTI government, however, insists that there is an overall improvement in business confidence. Howe do I decide who is right and who is wrong?
